Senior Android Software Engineer

• Track record of architecting and shipping production Android apps at scale
• Deep knowledge of Android internals including lifecycle, framework behavior, and performance characteristics
• Experience designing modular, scalable codebases with clear architectural patterns
• Testing mindset beyond own code, including reviewing for testability and improving automation
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues such as performance bottlenecks and system-level troubleshooting
• Experience mentoring engineers and raising quality standards through reviews
• Experience managing stakeholder expectations with realistic scoping and risk surfacing
• Security-conscious engineering mindset

• Own complex features end-to-end, from ambiguous requirements through A/B experimentation to production rollout
• Work on a large-scale Kotlin Android app with Compose, Coroutines, Hilt, and Navigation component
• Raise the quality bar for the whole team by pushing for testability and contributing to test infrastructure
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming, explaining architectural decisions
• Hunt down technical debt, flaky builds, and legacy pain points, treating codebase health seriously
• Champion UX quality and refuse to ship unstable or half-baked interfaces
• Dive into unfamiliar territory such as JNI, Python, Bash, and reverse engineering
• Drive improvements in ways of working, including AI-assisted development and CI pipelines
