Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

Our Client is a leader in investment banking in Poland, recruiting for the Data and Analytics Engineering department located in Wrocław, Poland.

• At least Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering.
• At least 4 years of proven commercial experience with Java-related technologies and Angular.
• Experience in building complex, highly scalable multi-tenant applications allowing ease of refactoring and unit testing.
• Experience with distributed and big data computing technologies and platforms like Redis, Spark, Kafka.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, SaaS technologies, and public cloud providers (preferably Azure), as well as AI-first software development practices.
• Experience with transforming monolith into microservices.
• Ability to work as a team using Agile methodologies.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

• Own API services development lifecycle, from design to operations, using primarily Java with SQL and NoSQL databases hosted in Azure.
• Work in an Agile environment leveraging modern AI tools/ecosystem.
• Gather requirements from Product Managers, User Experience Designers, and clients to drive feature development.
• Collaborate with engineering leads across Data and Analytics solutions to define milestones and deliveries for new functionality and enhancements.
• Bring forth innovative solutions to challenging problems and own them from ideation, implementation, and sustaining.
• Cooperate with the team on design sessions and ensure delivery of high quality work aligned with engineering strategy.
• Ensure agility and scalability working in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment setup.
