Windows Infrastructure Engineer

• C1 level English or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as a systems engineer with strong automation skills.
• Strong hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, including filtering objects, manipulating data, and building automation workflows.
• Strong experience with Windows-based infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS, identity systems) and Linux.
• Strong experience designing and managing Active Directory environments, including Group Policy, identity workflows, and system-level configurations.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server maintenance and backup strategies.
• Familiarity with Exchange on-premises and Office 365.
• Understanding of monitoring systems (e.g., SCOM, Prometheus).
• Ansible scripting for system management automation.
• Expertise in open-source backup tools.
• Strong understanding of security best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective solutions.
• Experience with Windows Failover Clustering.
• Some experience with Amazon Web Services: EC2, IAM, Config, CloudWatch, CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Citrix XenApp (Citrix Virtual Apps) for delivering remote applications.
• Experience managing remote application delivery via Citrix XenApp, ensuring secure access.
• Understanding of application publishing, user access management, and optimizing performance for remote app users.
• Experience with Git, TFS, and version-controlled configurations.

• Maintain IT systems management tools used by the team.
• Create and roll out new technical solutions through the dev/qa/prod pipeline.
• Remediate and mitigate vulnerabilities in a variety of technical products.
• Communicate with third-party technical support if needed.
• Work with other team members as an on-call engineer 24/7 based on a flexible schedule.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical system incidents.
• Automate the tasks.
• Document all changes within Change Management process and Confluence.
• Track projects in Jira.
• Undergo regular security training.
• Implement comprehensive automation strategies across various IT processes.
• Automate system management tasks using Ansible, PowerShell, and Python.
• Identify opportunities for automation in existing workflows to improve operational efficiency.
