Senior AI Engineer

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer for a project in the EdTech industry to help teams adopt AI tools and impact education technology development.

• Solid background in building or enabling AI-powered software solutions.
• Practical experience with current LLM tools and workflows including prompting, evaluation, prototyping, and agents.
• Experience working in AWS-based environments for AI or data projects (e.g. Bedrock, serverless, IAM).
• Understanding of data flow through systems and measurement in engineering or product teams.
• Ability to build and maintain dashboards and simple data pipelines.
• Experience working with different teams and adapting to their operations.
• Good communication skills, comfortable engaging with all levels.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Understanding of AI governance, security, and compliance basics.
• Experience with AI agents, orchestration tools, or internal AI platforms.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and know when to escalate.
• Experience in distributed or international team setups.

• Set up and maintain internal AI tools and platforms (e.g. ChatGPT Enterprise, Cursor).
• Run gradual rollouts and pilots of AI tools for technical and non-technical teams.
• Serve as the first point of contact for AI tool usage support.
• Create and run telemetry to monitor AI usage and impact.
• Build dashboards showing adoption trends, productivity changes, and team comparisons.
• Provide data and insights for monthly AI impact reports.
• Develop early prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and agent experiments.
• Translate ideas and concepts into working technical solutions.
• Collaborate with the Head of AI & Data to assess feasibility and validate approaches.
• Maintain the AI Knowledge Hub with documentation, prompt examples, and lessons learned.
• Onboard and train teams to use AI tools in daily work.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams across countries within governance and security guidelines.
