Satellite Simulation Engineer

Creotech Instruments is one of the fastest growing companies in the Polish space sector. We carry out projects in cooperation with the European Space Agency (ESA) and for Polish and foreign entities in the space sector. The strategic area of company development is the construction and launch into orbit of a series of satellites based on the proprietary Hypersat satellite platform.

We also operate in the field of advanced measurement systems, including for quantum computers and experimental high-energy physics.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
• Experience in development in Python (must have)
• Experience with Git
• Experience CI/CD methodology
• Familiar with containerization (Docker)
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment
• Proficiency in English

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Embedded development & projects
• Familiarity with C/C++ and Rust development
• Familiarity with aerospace industry and standards (e.g. UAV protocols, CCSDS, ECSS)

• Develop satellite simulator software components based on Creotech's HyperSat platform
• Develop simulators of satellite payloads (e.g. imaging payloads)
• Automate testing, validation & build processes using CI/CD
• Participate in satellite-to-ground-segment integration campaigns
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented and testable code
• Employ version control tools (e.g., Git) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) to ensure robust and scalable development workflows
• Manage software engineering fundamentals, including documentation, version control, and team collaboration
• Identify and resolve bugs and issues
• Deploy and monitor developed systems
