Electronics System Engineer (Automotive/Lighting)

• Experience in Requirements Engineering (gathering and analyzing technical requirements)
• Solid knowledge of electronics (PCBA), including design and verification (with/without heatsink)
• Understanding of thermal management and component selection (e.g. LEDs)
• Experience in project coordination (both internal teams and external suppliers)
• Ability to collaborate with electronic suppliers / EMS and HW/SW engineering teams
• Familiarity with product development processes and PLM tools
• Experience in customer-facing technical coordination
• Knowledge of quality processes such as FMEA, DVP&R, and test case definition
• Understanding of electronics architecture

• Perform Requirements Engineering
• LED selection and calculation based on requirements (technical, purchasing strategy, etc.)
• Define and verify the PCBA concept (without/with heatsink) including thermal requirements
• Deliver input data for system calibration data (LED current, NTC, Binning, etc.)
• Provide PCBA requirement specification (without/with heatsink) for electronic supplier or internal development
• Coordinate PCBA samples until nomination of Electronic Supplier for external electronics development
• Coordinate Electronic Supplier in technical matters
• Coordinate involved Engineers (Hardware / Software) and EMS Supplier in technical matters for internal electronics development
• Manage electronic work products (product releases) in PLM tool
• Coordinate with customers in terms of electronics (PCBAs without/with heatsink)
• Support test case and electronics architecture definition
• Support creation of DVP&R
• Participate in Sub-System FMEA
