Senior Frontend Engineer

CKSource is the company behind CKEditor, an open-source, modern TypeScript rich text editor used by millions worldwide. They produce software components like WYSIWYG editors, file managers, and document converters. CKEditor AI integrates intelligent, in-editor AI features to enhance content creation. CKSource is part of Tiugo Technologies, which includes brands like TinyMCE, ButterCMS, and Uploadcare, powering software applications and websites for clients including Microsoft and NASA.

• At least 4-5 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer
• Strong programming skills and proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Ability to complete complex software projects and deliver products
• Awareness of current web development trends including frameworks and AI
• Focus on quality, tests, simple solutions, and clean code
• Good command of English (at least B2) and advanced Polish (at least C1)

Nice to have:

• Contribution to open-source projects
• Experience with AI tools in day-to-day development

• Develop flagship products CKEditor 5 and CKEditor AI
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Use practices such as code review, pair programming, and testing
• Share good practices on programming standards, tools, or other processes
• Develop features and services impacting customer experience and company growth
• Use tools like Jira, GitHub, Agile, and Scrum
