Virtualization Engineer

Devire Outsourcing IT is a collaboration model dedicated to IT specialists based on self-employment (B2B), delivering projects for clients running innovative and modern projects. The client operates in the public sector.

• Experience in administration of complex virtual environments (VMware vSphere, Nutanix).
• Experience with virtual environment monitoring tools (e.g., VMware Aria Operations).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networks and protocols.
• Experience with ITIL processes and working with ticketing systems.
• Good knowledge of hardware server administration, storage, and fiber optic networks.
• Ability to diagnose problems, analytical thinking, and working in rapidly changing technology environments.
• Proactivity, user orientation, and teamwork skills.
• Higher education, minimum first degree.
• Very good command of English (minimum B2 level).

• Administration and ongoing maintenance of enterprise-class virtual environments based on VMware vSphere or Nutanix.
• Monitoring the health of virtual environments using dedicated tools such as VMware Aria Operations.
• Performing patching, updates, and development of virtualization platforms.
• Supervising backup and recovery processes, as well as storage infrastructure and physical servers.
• Analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues while ensuring environment performance and stability.
• Capacity planning, environment parameter optimization, and implementing best practices and security standards.
• Creating and updating technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Providing 2nd line support and close cooperation with 3rd line teams.
• Participating in project initiatives and other activities supporting infrastructure development.
