Lead Designer (Unannounced Project)

11 bit studios S.A. is a game development company based in Warsaw, offering a hybrid work model.

• Experience as Lead Designer or Design Director
• 8+ years of experience in game design (gameplay and/or systems)
• Experience with combat design
• Experience and very good skills in managing a design team
• Ability to work in hybrid model in Warsaw office
• Experience with working on indie/AA and understanding their limitations, capabilities and advantages
• Knowledge of Polish and English at B2 level or above
• Ability to write good project documentation
• Ability to define technical requirements
• Ability to work within time and project constraints
• Very good communication skills
• Passion about games and keeping up to date with the industry

Nice to have:

• Experience with Unreal Engine

• Collaborate with Directors to define gameplay pillars that best realize the game vision
• Collaborate with other domain Leads to develop concrete, actionable solutions for challenges presented by the development process
• Lead a team of designers, providing mentoring and feedback
• Collaborate with other teams to develop key foundational systems
• Provide feedback to the overall gameplay, combat, systems, story and level design

Ability to work in hybrid model in Warsaw office is required.
