Cloud & DevSecOps Engineer (m/f/n)

This position is for a long-term project delivered for a European Union organization, offering an opportunity to work in an international, highly secure, and innovative environment.

• Strong, hands-on AWS experience (AWS certifications required).
• Service management experience (ITIL or similar).
• Windows & Linux system administration.
• DevSecOps expertise.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK).
• Configuration management (Ansible).
• Strong understanding of Internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTPS).
• Knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP.
• Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Podman) and Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with GitLab pipelines.
• Solid understanding of IT security principles.
• Practical software development experience (Git, Python, TypeScript).
• Experience with AI development, agentic solutions and delivery of AI at scale.
• Minimum 5 years as a DevSecOps Engineer.
• Proven collaboration in agile environments.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
• Experience in community management, support or communication handling.
• Strong team player.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• EU citizenship — mandatory.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional EU languages is an advantage.

Nice to have:

• Azure experience (Terraform, automation).

• Develop efficient, reusable and maintainable code.
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews and SonarQube checks.
• Continuously improve existing services and propose optimizations.
• Create unit and integration tests to ensure stable development and deployment processes.
• Use GitLab, CI/CD pipelines and scripting to automate deployment and analysis tasks.
• Implement automation for configuration, monitoring and orchestration processes.
• Collaborate closely with architects, system administrators and development teams.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and maintain proper technical documentation.

Working on this project requires a security clearance classified as EU Secret or the initiation of the security clearance process after starting work. EU citizenship is mandatory.
