Platform Engineering Solution Architect

The role focuses on designing and evolving internal platform capabilities to enable engineering teams to deliver software faster, more reliably, and at scale. The key goals include minimizing infrastructure build time, standardizing tools, providing self-service to project teams, building the platform engineering discipline and community, supporting continuous development of platform capabilities, and meeting regulatory requirements such as ISO27001 and the Secondary Use Act.

• Hands-on experience with Platform Engineering architecture onboarding within the last 3 years.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience with GitLab.
• Experience with Red Hat developer hub or Spotify Backstage.
• Experience with OpenTofu or Terraform.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with OpenBao or Hashicorp Vault.
• Experience with Prometheus.
• Experience with Grafana.
• Experience with Quay container image management.
• Experience with SD-LAN.
• Fluent English, both written and oral.

• Building the core parts of the technical solution for the Platform Engineering discipline.
• Aligning the solution with existing infrastructure and technologies.
• Guiding the technical team and developing the solution hands-on.
• Evaluating and recommending tools, technologies, and processes to optimize platform performance and reliability.
• Implementing cyber security controls and ensuring architectural solutions comply with security policies and industry best practices.
