Identity & Access Management Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Engineer to support engineering discovery and implementation in the area of Identity & Access Management (IAM). The role focuses on designing and structuring identity, roles, and entitlements across systems, ensuring secure and scalable access management for both internal users and external stakeholders.

• Strong experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Hands-on experience with: RBAC / ABAC / policy-based access control.
• Experience with identity providers (e.g. Azure AD, Okta, etc.).
• Experience with PAM solutions.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience working in complex, distributed environments.
• Ability to analyze and structure access models and entitlement frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.

• Conduct engineering discovery related to identity, roles, and entitlements across systems.
• Define and design how users (e.g. LDC colleagues) authenticate and access systems.
• Map and manage identity providers and identity directories.
• Design and implement RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and/or policy-based access models.
• Support and define Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
• Identify and assess shadow identity systems (applications with their own access logic).
• Define access models for external identities (partners, contractors, etc.).
• Establish and document entitlement models (e.g. access rights per role such as GM).
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and platform teams to ensure consistency.
