Wymagania
Core Requirements:
- Proven experience in data science and/or mathematical modeling
- Solid knowledge of statistics (e.g., Monte Carlo, hypothesis testing, bootstrap, Bayesian inference)
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, random forest, gradient boosted trees, neural networks, k-means
- Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with the PyData stack (e.g., Pandas, Numpy, matplotlib) for analytics and machine learning
- Excellent problem-solving skills including researching, debugging, and instrumentation
- Ability to break down and prioritize work and make informed decisions about tools and algorithms
- Team-driven mentality with ability to collaborate and ownership
- Willingness to explore, grow, mentor others, and keep up with latest innovations in data science
Obowiązki
Main Responsibilities:
- Design solutions to problems while researching, debugging, and analyzing data using different data sources
- Create scalable and reliable code, and write documentation for contributed or explored parts
- Research, develop, and deliver data science solutions to production
- Develop custom ML metrics to monitor model performance
- Analyze validation/testing results, explain them, and improve model design accordingly
- Plan deliverables with team members
- Conduct code reviews
- Maintain constant communication about progress
- Mentor and share knowledge
- Suggest improvements to current solutions
