Senior Network Engineer (Cisco)

• Strong expertise in Switching and Wireless technologies, preferably with Cisco and Arista.
• Solid hands-on experience with enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Proven experience with Cisco ISE and network access control.
• Deep understanding of routing and switching protocols and architectures.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills including packet-level diagnostics.
• Knowledge of SDWAN, Cisco DNAC, Python, and Ansible is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with customer-focused mindset.
• Ability and willingness to work in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP (or equivalent practical experience).

• Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS/DHCP, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
• Implement and troubleshoot Cisco NAC solutions such as Cisco ISE (Authentication, Profiling, Posturing).
• Manage and maintain various network and security platforms including Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Fortigate NGFW, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ISR, Cisco Catalyst 4500/6500, Juniper, Arista, Aruba.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, PBR, route filtering, redistribution, summarization, prefix-lists, and static routing.
• Work with switching technologies: VPC, MLAG, VLANs, trunking, VTP, STP, MST, EtherChannels.
• Perform advanced network & security troubleshooting including packet capture and analysis.
• Support and enhance SDWAN and DNAC environments; contribute to automation initiatives using Python and Ansible.
• Take ownership of customer issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
• Participate in a 24x7x365 support model, including rotational shifts and on-call responsibilities.
