Full Stack Java Developer

Matrix Eastern Europe, the offshore division of Matrix IT, one of the leading global R&D services companies with more than 10,000 professionals, is looking for a Fullstack Java Developer to join one of their teams - Stampli. Stampli is an Accounts Payable Automation software that centers communications on top of the invoice to improve collaboration and speed approvals, providing visibility, transparency, and audit-ready histories of approved bills.

• Strong and hands-on development capabilities.
• At least 5 years of work experience, preferably more.
• Experience with AI on a daily basis.
• Experience with Java and React is a must.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable applications.
• Experience with Agile methodology and strong knowledge of software development best practices.
• Proven problem-solving skills and good judgment.
• Knowledge of AWS technologies and services.
• Knowledge of cloud development principles and NoSQL.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Java and React.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and developers to deliver robust, user-focused solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Ensure code quality by writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, following best practices and design principles.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Contribute to Agile processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Continuously explore and integrate new technologies, including opportunities to apply AI and machine learning patterns within the product.
• Collaborate on the design and development of cloud-based and NoSQL solutions, leveraging AWS services where applicable.
• Actively contribute to improving team processes and knowledge sharing.
