Network Automation Engineer

The position is within the Professional Services team at Antal, focusing on automation development in telecommunications and IT sectors. The role involves developing and implementing automation solutions for telecommunication systems such as OSS/BSS and operator networks.

• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
• Professional experience as an Automation Engineer or in a related IT/telco role
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Perl, TCL
• Knowledge of OSS/BSS systems is an advantage
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level

Nice to have:

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with protocols and technologies such as SNMP, NETCONF, REST API, TR-069/TR-369
• Understanding of operator network architectures (MPLS, xDSL, GPON)

• Design and implement tools and scripts to automate processes in network environments
• Maintain and develop automation frameworks
• Integrate OSS/BSS systems with other network components
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and deployment teams
• Participate in testing and support client deployments both remotely and on-site
• Monitor and analyze the performance of automated processes
