Senior Full Stack Engineer - React + Node.js

We are a leading trading platform ambitiously expanding globally. Our top-rated products have won prestigious industry awards for cutting-edge technology and seamless client experience. We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Engineering Excellence team within the Product & Engineering department to build and evolve a key internal operational platform.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong full-stack expertise
• Solid proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript ecosystems
• Strong experience with Next.js for building production-grade frontends
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and NestJS (or similar backend frameworks)
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and backend architecture principles
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL or MySQL) and solid understanding of data modelling and query optimisation
• Comfortable working in an agile environment with a high degree of ownership and autonomy
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience working with data including data pipelines, aggregations, or analytics integrations
• Experience building internal tooling, dashboards, or management platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP)
• Prior experience in a fintech or high-growth technology company

• Design, build, and maintain a full-stack internal platform serving operational and management use cases across the organisation
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from architecture and API design through to frontend implementation and deployment
• Build clean, performant, and maintainable user interfaces using React / Next.js and TypeScript
• Develop robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and NestJS
• Collaborate closely with engineering managers and product stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions
• Contribute to technical decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices within the team
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of the platform as adoption grows across the company
