Lead Direct3D, Vulkan Developer

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science (especially Graphics and/or Machine Learning), Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong object-oriented programming background, preferably in C/C++.
• Proven experience in 3D graphics and ray tracing.
• Understanding of machine learning techniques and their application in graphics.
• Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and/or Android operating system development.
• Knowledge of software development tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub), and profilers.
• Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals.
• Proficient in English.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Motivating leader with good interpersonal skills.

• Lead software engineering efforts to improve performance of key applications and benchmarks.
• Work as part of a core team of industry specialists using the latest hardware and software technology.
• Utilize proficiency in 3D graphics and ray tracing using GPU Compute and Graphics APIs such as Direct3D, Vulkan, OpenGL, OpenCL, CUDA.
• Apply machine learning techniques, especially denoisers, within graphics.
• Use general software development workflows including git, cmake, and CI.
• Write expert-level code in C and/or C++.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with different teams across AMD.
• Demonstrate leadership skills to resolve sophisticated issues.
