Enterprise / Solution Architect

GetResponse is a Polish SaaS company with more than 300 people and 350,000+ customers worldwide. Founded in 1998, it offers advanced online marketing solutions including marketing automation, responsive email design, landing page creator, webinars, CRM, and analytical tools.

Your background:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years experience as an Architect, 10+ years in Software Development
• Strong understanding of business processes and objectives
• Strong communication skills in Polish and English (minimum B2) in a professional environment

Your technical expertise:

• Experience in at least one development stack: .NET, PHP, Java, Python
• Proven experience with various databases: relational, graph, columnar, NoSQL, and beyond
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns and cross-system communication
• Understanding of monolithic to microservices architectures including trade-offs and migration paths
• Experience designing systems for single-tenant and multi-tenant environments with implications for data isolation, scalability, and operational complexity
• Experience guiding teams through architecture transitions such as extracting services from monoliths or consolidating microservices

Own the architecture:

• Take full ownership of the overall applications architecture, driving design, discovery, and assessment of solution architectures across the organization
• Translate architectural vision into tangible business impact, shaping product and technology roadmaps
• Evaluate technology choices and architectural trade-offs focusing on cost, scalability, maintainability, and long-term capacity

Drive decisions, manage risk:

• Navigate architects and technology experts toward architectural decisions, standards, frameworks, and tooling
• Identify risks and architectural challenges early and own mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, and IT Security teams to ground architectural decisions in operational, security, and quality realities

Shape the technical direction:

• Facilitate alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders to define and prioritize architectural drivers
• Drive or support implementation estimation and roadmap construction bridging architectural vision and delivery planning

Raise the bar across teams:

• Provide mentorship, technical expertise, and hands-on guidance to architects and development teams
• Own architecture guidelines and documentation standards, keeping them current and consistent across product teams without slowing autonomy
