Senior DevOps Platform Engineer

• Experience with running and operating software in production at scale
• Ability to build CI/CD pipelines allowing everyday releases
• Proficiency with Git
• Cloud-native approach
• Ability to design scalable and highly-available architecture in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration Kubernetes
• Coding experience in several languages (e.g., TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Python, Bash)
• Experience in setting up monitoring and logging tools (Elk stack, Azure Insights, Kibana)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Experience with API Gateways
• Knowledge of cloud and network security
• Up to date with the latest technology trends
• Effective at writing clean documentation
• Familiarity with design thinking methodologies
• Experience with cloud-based software architecture and solutions
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum philosophies and methods
• Good interpersonal and team collaboration skills

• Build and maintain core platform components (SSO, Access Management, clusters, networking, CI/CD, observability)
• Own Terraform modules, baseline configurations, and guardrails for distributed teams
• Design and evolve platform “golden paths” including secure defaults, templates, and standards
• Maintain platform Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, modules, state design, multi-account governance)
• Integrate with team-owned CDK stacks through stable platform contracts
• Lead evolution of platform abstraction layers and service catalogs
• Design and manage multi-account AWS landing zone (Organizations, SCPs, permissions boundaries)
• Own developer onboarding patterns (IAM SSO access, automation, pipelines)
• Build safe cross-account deployment workflows (GitHub OIDC, least privilege)
• Design and operate ECS and EKS clusters used by hundreds of services
• Establish best practices for container execution, networking, and autoscaling
• Manage central networking components (VPC, TGW, Route53)
• Ensure secure east–west communication between workloads in different accounts
• Provide self-service tools and templates for teams (pipelines, service definitions, actions)
• Abstract platform complexity to enable fast and safe deployments for all teams
• Own documentation, workshops, patterns, and architectural guidance
• Operate and evolve platform-wide logging, metrics, and tracing systems
• Ensure operational standards for platform components
