ML Software Engineer

Holisticon Connect is a division within NEXER GROUP, a custom software development company started in Poland in 2017 with a team of over 140 people. The company works with world-renowned brands from Scandinavia, the UK, and Western Europe, focusing on growing stronger in competence rather than numbers.

• Experience in building and applying ML systems using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Experience in developing training data processing pipelines for image data or comparable complex data types like proteomics.
• Practical understanding of the MLOps lifecycle, including model training, validation, deployment, and quality monitoring.
• Excellent proficiency in Python.
• Strong software engineering skills including writing high-performance, modern, and reliable code with proper documentation, unit tests, and code quality best practices.

Nice to have:

• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with experiment-tracking platforms such as Weights & Biases or MLflow.
• Exposure to processing platforms such as Kubeflow.
• Background in computer vision, including experience with tools like OpenCV.
• Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure, particularly AWS.
• Experience working in regulated environments and developing software under predefined regulatory requirements.

• Contribute to the development and evolution of internal ML tooling.
• Transform early-stage prototype workflows into scalable, compliant production solutions.
• Create new tools and enhance existing ones by adding functionality, resolving issues, increasing test coverage, and improving documentation.
• Ensure that processes and developed tooling meet all required compliance standards.
