Automation and Integration Engineer

Mindbox is a tech-driven company connecting top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe. The role is within the Cybersecurity Core Engineering Automation and Integration team, focusing on automation and integration in a leading financial institution.

• Proficiency in Python for scripting and web programming.
• Experience in full stack engineering, including front-end and back-end development, database design, and infrastructure delivery.
• Knowledge of UI development and tools such as Figma, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with API design standards (Swagger, OpenAPI 3.0), REST, SOAP, JSON, and microservices.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Working knowledge of databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and Windows, Linux, UNIX environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to different audiences.
• A proactive learner with a collaborative mindset.

Nice to have:

• Background in Cybersecurity, System Administration, or Application Support.
• Knowledge of Data, Network, and Endpoint security domains.

• Collaborate within a cross-functional engineering team to deliver automation and integration use cases.
• Design and develop end-to-end automation solutions for infrastructure technologies across on-premises and containerized environments.
• Maintain an agile mindset, leveraging frameworks like Lean and tools such as JIRA.
• Support the team in scoping and prioritizing engineering solutions.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues across multiple environments (DEV, UAT, Production).
• Drive continuous improvement and remove organizational barriers affecting processes and products.
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity strategy, product management direction, and standard controls.
• Participate in technical development and knowledge sharing within the team.
