Language Data Quality Reviewer for Finnish - Transcriptionist (Freelance)

• Must be able to read and write in Finnish and English.
• Must have reliable high-speed internet and a functioning device (laptop, desktop, etc.) from day one.
• Some experience in data labeling, manipulation, or quality assurance, particularly in technology or related fields.
• Proficient in Finnish and English.
• Excellent logical reasoning and analytical skills.
• Experience with data labeling and manipulation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to data quality issues.
• Excellent listening, comprehension, and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in typing and writing.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude with commitment to fostering positive experiences.
• Certification as a Linguist is a plus.

• Analyze datasets, translating raw data into actionable insights to support business improvement strategies.
• Handle data batches, apply labeling techniques, and manipulate data according to project requirements, ensuring high accuracy.
• Oversee the quality of training data, identify issues or anomalies, and implement corrective measures to maintain data integrity.
• Provide translations and contextual understanding to ensure data aligns with language and cultural nuances.
• Offer suggestions aimed at improving business processes and outcomes based on data analysis.
• Transcribe and annotate audio or video files according to detailed project guidelines.

• This is a 1099 independent contractor position; classification may vary based on location and local regulations.
• Candidates outside the US may be required to provide a W-8 BEN form.
• Candidates must be available in IST time zone (preferred 8am IST onwards).
• Must have access to good Wi-Fi connection during working hours.
• Tasks are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Work may be irregular or intermittent.
