Wymagania
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related majors
- Minimum 8 years’ experience as an API engineer
- Strong experience in API design and creating architectural artefacts (gap analysis, low level designs, data models)
- More than 5 years engineering background in back-end microservices, application security, authentication, cache and middleware
- More than 8 years programming experience in Java; ideally Go and Rust
- Expertise in JVM tuning and diagnostics for troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Expertise in distributed system design including microservices and Spring Boot
- Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, service mesh
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, Kiali, Open Telemetry
- Experience in cloud and DevOps; familiar with network (VPC), firewall on cloud, identity and access management, cloud delivery including sizing and costing
- Knowledge of Linux OS, networking, storage, network load-balancing, Kubernetes CNI
- Strong SQL coding abilities preferred
- Experience working in financial institution, ideally payments
- Ability to work independently and think creatively
- Leadership skills including mentoring and coaching
- Superior listening skills, quick learning, accountability
- Critical thinking for problem identification and solution recommendation
- Team player with initiative and sound business judgment
- Highly flexible, able to set priorities and meet deadlines in changing environment

- Deliver engineering expertise for Future State Architecture, producing payment processing capabilities
- Deliver high quality code artefacts ensuring quality gates and robust test scripts
- Focus on delivering highly available, highly resilient software and service capability
- Participate in wider delivery team developing new capabilities
- Support transformation of payment estate focusing on modernization and cloud adoption
- Set expected software delivery level within team, leading by example
- Serve as expert, identify process improvements and problem prevention, advise management
- Provide analysis and solutions to technical and business issues
- Understand and apply technology and corporate vision for implementation
- Maintain awareness of business and technology strategies, implement technical alternatives
- Maintain complex technical infrastructure to meet business requirements
- Provide technical solutions, leadership and direction to management
- Remain current on technical and professional advances and business strategies
- Resolve architectural or development blockers
- Partner with DevOps team for automated infrastructure delivery, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines
- Initiate analysis for complex problems, determine technical alternatives, analyze vendor solutions, negotiate contracts, develop standards
- Provide technical leadership and consultation to project team members
- Initiate and conduct feasibility studies of new and modified operational procedures
- Prepare cost/benefit analyses, functional and detail specifications for large systems
- Provide guidance in planning, designing, programming, documentation and implementation
- Perform reviews of new and existing systems to ensure operational integrity
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs
- Provide architecture guidance to developers based on best practices and global standards
- Ensure compliance with relevant controls and standards
- Maintain expertise on tools, technologies, cyber security, data privacy, consent, data residency regulations
