Senior Policy Engineer

Mindbox is a tech-driven company connecting top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe. The Senior Policy Engineer will join the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) platform team, which supports Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements by collecting data from multiple sources and modernizing legacy systems with new microservices architecture.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex business rules
• Solid Python programming skills for business logic implementation
• Strong experience with REST APIs and issue resolution
• Expertise in data validation using JSON and XML formats
• Understanding of GitHub Copilot for scripting
• Strong business communication skills (clear written and verbal)
• Proactive, self-driven approach with strong ownership of tasks

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in international/distributed teams
• Familiarity with rule engines, workflow systems, or domain-driven design
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and test cases
• Understanding of programming principles (Java)
• Experience with decision trees (design, implementation, optimization)

• Collaborate in a global, cross-regional team to deliver high-quality solutions
