Senior Full-Stack (Python/Angular) Engineer

Matrix Eastern Europe, the offshore division of Matrix IT, one of the leading global R&D services companies with more than 11,000 professionals, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the team of their client and partner.

• At least 5 years of backend web development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Python programming experience using typing.
• Minimum 3 years experience with Python Flask/Quart including Web API, Web Socket, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
• At least 2 years experience with Angular version 17+ (Angular 20 is an advantage).
• Proficient in HTML, SCSS, JavaScript.
• Minimum 5 years experience with Typescript.
• Minimum 5 years experience with PostgreSQL/SQL including writing complex SQL, functions, procedures.
• Experience with MongoDB queries and pipelines.
• Experience working with any vector database; Qdrant is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years experience with GIT.
• Experience with Visual Code including debugging and installing extensions.
• Minimum 2 years experience working with Docker and containers on Linux (DevOps/Ubuntu).
• Professional working proficiency in English to handle daily work tasks, conversations, and write reports and documentation.
• Proven track record of at least 7 years in both backend and frontend development, leading development from scratch.
• Experience in Python, Angular, Docker.
• Deep understanding of databases, cloud services, and strong software engineering and software architecture skills.

• Design and build full-stack applications from scratch using Python, Node.js/TypeScript, and Angular.
• Develop scalable backend APIs, WebSockets, and services with Flask/Quart, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and vector databases.
• Implement AI features using LLMs (OpenAI/GPT), embeddings, and vector search to power intelligent product capabilities.
• Create modern, responsive UIs with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS.
• Architect cloud-ready systems and manage containerized deployments using Docker on Linux.
