Senior Data Scientist (Python | Synthetic Control)

1dea is a recruitment consulting company providing IT talent acquisition services for its clients. It has been operating in the Polish market for over 8 years and is gradually expanding its services to Western European markets.

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in a similar role.
• Methodological expertise: proficient knowledge of Synthetic Control, Geo-splits, and Power Analysis.
• Causal inference: experience in Causal Modeling beyond standard predictive models.
• Programming in Python: ability to implement complex statistical methods in code.
• Advanced statistics: knowledge of test group randomization and experimental design (DoE).
• Senior approach: ability to map business problems to specific mathematical frameworks.
• English: fluent in spoken and written English, minimum B2 level.

• Power Analysis
• Casual Modeling

• Designing experiments: planning and evaluating incrementality tests and advanced market tests.
• Building tools (Python): creating reusable scripts and notebooks to automate testing processes.
• Developing Playbooks: defining standards and selecting methods (e.g., Geo-splits) for specific business questions.
• Mentoring and education: transferring specialized methodological knowledge to two Data Scientists in the team.
• Project collaboration: working closely with the team on implementing causal models in marketing.
