Senior QA Engineer (Banking Industry)

• Solid understanding of software testing principles (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent).
• Ability to lead and support QA activities across the delivery team.
• Motivation to continuously develop expertise in test automation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to promote automation practices within the team.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in test automation for GUI/web applications or REST-based services.
• Programming experience in Java, Python, or Robot Framework.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Cucumber, Postman, or Chrome DevTools.
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker).
• Basic SQL knowledge and ability to write database queries.
• Experience working with common data formats such as XML, CSV, and JSON.

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge or experience in performance testing using tools such as JMeter.

• Work in a hybrid model with a minimum office presence of two days per week.
• Support the development of automation testing strategies for application releases using established QA standards and methodologies.
• Create and maintain automated tests while managing the related test repository.
• Execute automated test suites within defined timelines and report testing progress in line with project standards.
• Document testing outcomes and assist with defect tracking and resolution processes.
• Provide testing support when investigating and resolving production issues.
• Enhance and extend existing automation frameworks to accommodate new technologies and testing needs.
• Apply best practices in test automation tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce duplication.
• Design test scenarios for system, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with manual testers to convert manual test cases into automated ones.
