QA Engineer (Banking Industry)

Must-have requirements:

• Solid understanding of software testing principles equivalent to the ISTQB Foundation Level.

• Knowledge of QA methodologies, including both manual and automated testing practices.

• Practical experience testing REST and/or SOAP APIs.

• Hands-on experience with Python and the PyTest testing framework.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and developer tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.

• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Proactive attitude, openness to new ideas, and willingness to learn.

• Commitment to continuous self-improvement and contributing to team efficiency and quality improvements.

• 4 years of experience in a similar position

• Participate as a member of an Agile/Scrum team focused on software quality.
• Design, prepare, and execute tests for RESTful APIs.
• Review and analyze functional requirements from a testing perspective.
• Develop and maintain test cases and automated tests using the PyTest framework.
• Write and maintain test scripts in Python.
• Document and report testing results, defects, and overall quality status.
• Work closely with other testers and development team members to improve test coverage and product quality.
• Exposure to low-code platforms or applications is considered an additional advantage.
