Senior Kotlin Engineer with Java

• Strong commercial experience building production systems in Kotlin and Python
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles (SOLID, DRY, ER modelling)
• Working experience with GCP cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, and familiarity with standard logging and monitoring tools
• Experience with continuous integration or continuous delivery
• Strong familiarity with build tools (e.g., Maven) and version control tools (e.g., Git/Github)
• Experience working in agile teams, following Scrum or Kanban, participating in regular ceremonies including stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production-like setups
• Upper-intermediate English
• Previous experience in software development in financial markets, Fintech, or Insurtech is a plus
• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required

• Design, implement, test, document, and maintain APIs and system integrations
• Deliver new features within core Kotlin-based services
• Collaborate closely in cross-functional teams
• Maintain high quality standards through automated testing, pair programming, and thorough code reviews
• Understand user needs and translate them into solid technical solutions
