Java Fullstack Engineer With GCP

Work for the largest bank in Europe, which operates in more than 65 countries around the world giving access to over 90% of all world trade flows. Verita HR is an international company providing recruitment support within Fintech, Finance and Banking market in EMEA.

• Proven track record of delivering large scale web applications in full-stack roles with microservice based architecture.
• Excellent knowledge of Java (Java17+ preferable) along with Spring / Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Excellent knowledge of ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Experience of Google Cloud Platform is a must.
• Experience in working with relational databases / data warehouses (e.g. PostgreSQL, BigQuery, AlloyDB).
• Experience in working with Git and SCM systems (e.g. GitHub).
• Understanding of CI/CD.

Nice to have:

• Experience in data visualisation (using tools like Apache ECharts).

• 5 years of experience in a similar position.

• Knowledge of Spring, Java, Spring Boot, Git, JUnit, GCP, Microservices, React, JavaScript, TypeScript.

• Languages: English, Spanish.

You will join Data and Insights team responsible for global reporting across the business, technology and transformation operations.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently and as part of a cross-country team to design, develop, test and implement web-based applications.
• Support Data and Insights team in migration of current reporting suite from vendor BI technology out to cloud.
• Mentor other team members, providing guidance and knowledge transfer to facilitate smooth technology stack change.
• Follow IT development methodologies, corporate information security aligned to product owner vision to ensure successful delivery with strict adherence to coding practices and the production of all necessary documentation.

Hybrid work: 6 days per month from the office in Cracow.
