Principal SME - Network Access Control

Mindbox is a tech-driven company connecting top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe. The role is within a global Cybersecurity / Network Security function, focusing on Network Access Control initiatives in a complex, enterprise-scale environment.

• Deep understanding of Network Access Control technologies
• Strong knowledge of network security threats and risks
• Solid understanding of network design, firewalls, load balancing, and segmentation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and lead engagements with minimal supervision
• Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments
• Strong customer focus and ability to work under time pressure
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Nice to have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Cybersecurity
• Industry certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNA, CCIE)
• Scripting skills (Python, Perl, or similar)
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts
• Exposure to security operations tools (e.g. SIEM, incident response)

• Acting as a trusted SME for Network Access Control across business and IT projects
• Reviewing solutions and initiatives to ensure network security control requirements are met
• Identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve the overall network security posture
• Analysing network and cybersecurity data (e.g. logs, metrics) to support decisions and demonstrate control effectiveness
• Advising and collaborating with senior technical leaders and diverse stakeholder groups
• Leading complex engagements and representing Network Security interests where required
• Building strong relationships and working collaboratively across global, distributed teams
