Senior Front-End Developer

Wakacje.pl is an e-commerce platform and a network of travel agencies offering a wide range of travel products. Since 2015, it has been part of Wirtualna Polska Holding, Poland’s largest group of media and e-commerce companies. Together with Travelplanet.pl and the Invia brands across CEE, they are building a unified travel group driven by a shared #TravelMindset.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with React, or minimum 3 years with proven experience in other major frameworks like Angular, Vue, Svelte
• Practical experience with TypeScript
• Experience with Next.js (SSR, API Routes, data fetching patterns)
• Strong collaboration skills working with UX/UI designers and QA in Scrum teams
• Strong communication skills in English
• Good self-organization skills

• SEO / Core Web Vitals / Google Analytics / Web Accessibility
• Practical experience with AI coding assistants and leveraging AI for problem-solving
• WebSockets experience
• Experience with design systems
• Experience with A/B testing
• Experience with Playwright or Cypress
• Experience with other JS frameworks (Angular, Vue, Svelte)
• Experience with backend technologies and API development (e.g. Node.js)
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD concepts and Docker containerization

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining the main e-commerce platform built with Next.js and TypeScript
• Ensuring code is clean, scalable, and easy to maintain
• Optimizing existing solutions, application performance, and reducing technical debt
• Proposing and implementing new ideas and selecting appropriate technologies
• Contributing to team work planning and task estimation
• Collaborating with other teams within the IT department and with business stakeholders
• Mentoring team members and improving overall team knowledge through code reviews and knowledge sharing
