Data Governance Specialist

Avenga is a global company with over 6000 specialists providing services including business and tech advisory, enterprise solutions, CX, UX and UI design, managed services, product development, and software development.

• 2–3 years experience as Data Governance Analyst within financial services projects.
• 2–3 years proven business knowledge in financial services / banking.
• Experience in Data Governance or Data Management, ideally in financial services.
• Strong understanding of data governance concepts (Glossary, DQ, RDM, Lineage).
• Ability to translate business requirements into governance standards.
• Hands-on experience querying databases (SQL or similar).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Data Governance platforms (e.g. Ataccama).
• Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).

• Supporting core data governance processes.
• Maintaining basic data standards and guidelines.
• Collaborating with business and IT on data-related topics.
• Performing simple data analysis, including basic SQL queries.
