Analytics Engineer / BI Engineer

Tpay is a payment operator for e-commerce and online services with over 14 years of experience. The company serves clients such as RTV Euro AGD, Media Expert, Jakdojade.pl, Koleo, and PKP Informatyka. The role involves working at the intersection of data engineering and business analysis, focusing on data modeling for transactional flows, product analytics, and regulatory support.

• 2-4+ years of experience in data-related fields (BI, Analytics, Data Engineering)
• Higher education in computer science, mathematics, econometrics, data science, or equivalent professional experience
• Advanced SQL skills including window functions, CTEs, and query optimization
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques (Star Schema; Medallion and Data Vault are a plus)
• Ability to communicate with business stakeholders and translate requirements into data structures
• Proactive in sourcing information and process owners
• English language proficiency at B2+ level (technical documentation, working with English sources)

Nice to have:

• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
• Experience in fintech/payments or working with digital product data (logs, events, e-commerce)
• Experience with GCP ecosystem including BigQuery features like partitioning, clustering, scheduled queries, and cost optimization
• Google Cloud Platform certification or similar
• Python for transformation and automation
• Practical knowledge of dbt or Dataform (model building, testing, Git repository work)
• Experience with data quality tools (Dataplex, Great Expectations, Elementary)

• Designing and building datamarts in BigQuery
• Gathering requirements from business and developers and translating them into data models
• Ensuring data quality through testing, validation, and documentation
• Optimizing queries in BigQuery
• Collaborating with Data Engineers to acquire new data sources
• Building reports and dashboards using Tableau and Looker
• Automating alerts on Slack
• Supporting self-service analytics
