Senior PL/SQL Software Developer

• Degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics, or vocational training as Fachinformatiker Anwendungsentwicklung, or comparable professional experience
• Solid experience in developing modern applications with a strong database focus
• Strong, hands-on expertise in PL/SQL
• Experience with relational and transactional databases
• Understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Experience with automated or unit testing
• Practical experience with agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with collaboration and development tools
• Knowledge of architecture standards and best practices
• German language skills (written and spoken), minimum B2
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup within Germany
• Team-oriented mindset and customer-focused attitude

Nice to have:

• Experience with performance tuning and optimization
• Exposure to financial systems or securities trading
• Experience working on long-lived enterprise or regulated systems
• Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban environments

• Design and implement new requirements using PL/SQL
• Integrate new functionality into an existing, mature software architecture
• Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle:
  • Planning and technical conception
  • Implementation and testing
  • Maintenance and operational support
• Ensure quality, performance, and maintainability of database logic
• Develop and maintain stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers
• Analyze and optimize existing SQL and PL/SQL code
• Implement unit and automated tests
• Actively collaborate within an agile development team
• Apply architecture standards and database best practices
