Wymagania
Required:
- Proven track record (5+ years) leading engineering teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Deep software engineering background; language-agnostic but favors JavaScript and Java on AWS.
- Strong cloud native mindset with understanding of cloud architecture principles (AWS, GCP, Azure), distributed systems, serverless/containerized environments.
- Experience with high-velocity SDLC including CI/CD, automated testing, and DORA-measured excellence.
Nice to have:
- Experience with legacy modernization and refactoring using patterns like the Strangler Pattern.
- Experience meeting high security and reliability standards for enterprise and financial institutions.

Goal:
- Create autonomous, high-performing teams with strong commercial and security awareness.

- Lead multiple teams and delivery streams, managing full software lifecycle.
Technical:
- Provide technical oversight ensuring designs adhere to domain standards.
- Enforce engineering excellence with ADRs and architectural diagrams before implementation.
- Accountable for full operational lifecycle including on-call rotations and incident root-cause analysis.
- Implement observability and monitoring for data-informed decision-making.
- Manage engineering onboarding and individual performance standards.
- Represent teams’ technical interests internally and externally.
Management:
- Manage interruptions and context-switching to maintain high-velocity flow.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and lead planning with engineers.
- Maintain healthy shipping cadence balancing delivery and platform health.
- Collaborate on commercial and financial viability balancing Capex and operational costs.
- Serve as proactive incident manager ensuring escalation and communication.
- Develop people through growth milestones and career progression conversations.
- Ensure organizational clarity and communicate company changes effectively.
Leadership:
- Accountable for organizational and individual growth, mentoring technical leadership.
- Mandate Security First and data-informed culture tracking DORA metrics and vulnerability remediation.
- Construct autonomous squads with specialized depth in Security, Architecture, FinOps.
- Remove blockers and accelerate decision-making enforcing radical ownership.
- Own talent lifecycle including sourcing, hiring integration, and retention strategies.
- Establish high-trust partnerships with cross-functional peers and resolve conflicts.
