Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Security Platform Engineering team, where you will design and build Trust & Safety services such as content moderation, player reporting and sanctioning systems to ensure a fair and secure experience for all users.

• 3+ years of experience in backend development focused on scalable high-performance systems
• Knowledge of Golang and its ecosystem
• Experience with AWS cloud services and technologies
• Skills in effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Capability to work independently, navigate ambiguity and deliver solutions with a user-focused and innovative mindset
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

• Contribute code and act as a code owner for multiple services and code-bases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define solutions and implement best practices for API design and backend architecture
• Apply best practices and identify opportunities to improve products and services
• Monitor industry trends and maintain a strong interest in cutting edge technology
• Recommend improvements to the tech stack and processes based on emerging technologies
• Conduct code reviews and promote a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
