Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner with fluent German

The Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner role is within a savings bank environment in the finance industry, focusing on delivering actionable results by formulating user stories and business cases to enhance business processes while ensuring compliance and stakeholder alignment.

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in a banking environment.
• Experience with Sparkasse.
• Proven experience in creating business cases, not just user stories.
• Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban).
• Fluent German (C1+) is mandatory.

Nice to have:

• Basic understanding of AI use cases in banking.
• Basic knowledge of SOC2 / ISO 27001 compliance.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools.

• Creating and prioritizing user stories in close cooperation with specialist departments.
• Developing complete business cases, including cost-benefit analyses and decision templates.
• Stakeholder management on both the specialist department and IT sides.
• Coordination on requirements and feasibility.
• Ensuring that requirements are documented in a compliant manner (SOC2, ISO 27001).
• Identifying AI potential within the assigned workstream.

• Hands-on execution delivery model with pure delivery focus.
• B2B contract type.

• Work model: Remote.
• Business travels once a month to Frankfurt, Hanover, or Münster (if possible).
• Onboarding onsite in Germany (Frankfurt, Hanover, or Münster).
• Project length till the end of 2026 with possible extensions.
• Project language: German (fluency needed).
