Technical Business Analyst – ESG

• Proven experience delivering technically focused Business Analysis services within change initiatives involving multiple internal and/or external stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage audiences of varying levels of business and technical understanding and seniority.
• Solid understanding of ESG data and the broader data lifecycle.
• Experience working within an Agile technology delivery environment.
• Experience designing solutions that integrate third-party data sources.
• Familiarity with data platforms such as Google Cloud, Hadoop, or similar environments is a strong advantage.

• Elicit and analyse requirements using appropriate techniques, including interviews, document analysis, workshops, and business process/workflow analysis.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope and detailed requirements.
• Work closely with the Pod Delivery Manager to communicate project progress, estimates, and updates to stakeholders and senior management, preparing documentation and presentations as needed.
• Support projects with analysis, testing, organisational, and project administration activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery using Agile methodologies.
• Gather, analyse, manipulate, and document data, translating business needs into clear technical specifications for data engineers.
• Ensure all requirements, process flows, and solution designs are clearly documented and traceable throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Promote and adhere to data governance standards, incorporating data definitions, lineage, and quality considerations into project deliverables.
• Produce high-quality documentation, including business requirements documents, data dictionaries, source-to-target mappings, process flows, and user guides, maintaining consistent standards across technology solutions.
