Automation Tester/QA (C#)

Scalo offers a remote position with onboarding in Wrocław, working on projects in the financial sector involving a transformation program.

• Experience in software testing at Regular+/Senior level
• Experience testing complex systems with multiple microservices
• Experience with asynchronous communication and event-driven systems
• Experience testing REST APIs and working with API contracts (OpenAPI)
• Proficiency in C# programming
• Knowledge of TestNG, xUnit, NSubstitute, TestContainers
• Experience with at least one CI/CD system (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with test management tools (Xray for Jira)
• Ability to develop test strategies for applications with localization and business rules
• Ability to solve problems independently and initiate improvements

Nice to have:

• Practical knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server)
• Experience with OpenShift or containerized environments
• Experience automating UI and API tests using Playwright, TypeScript, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of BDD methodology
• Experience using AI tools in daily work (e.g., Copilot, LLM models)

• Performing manual and automated tests
• Designing, creating, and maintaining automated tests for microservices based on asynchronous communication and event-driven approach
• Reporting and documenting bugs
• Ensuring consistency of testing solutions and adherence to organizational and architectural standards
• Working with test data using SQL to validate business and process logic in complex systems
• Optionally designing, creating, and maintaining automated tests in Playwright (TypeScript) for API and frontend (Angular) tests
