Senior Software QA Engineer

Autodesk is a company that creates software used in various industries including green building, automotive, manufacturing, and entertainment. The role is within Autodesk's Civil Infrastructure Product Line Group in Krakow, contributing to the "Digital Project Delivery for Infrastructure" initiative, which integrates digital technologies throughout the lifecycle of infrastructure projects to improve efficiency, accuracy, collaboration, and sustainability while reducing costs and timelines. The team develops Civil Engineering software for cloud and desktop to assist civil engineers in design and review processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• 3+ years of job experience or a Master's degree
• Proficient in a modern test suite, preferably Playwright or Colosseum
• Proficient in a modern programming language, preferably JavaScript or C#
• Passion for improving product quality
• Customer-oriented approach to Quality Assurance
• Attention to detail
• Solid English language skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or educational background in the AEC industry
• Experience with Git or similar source code revision control systems
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Test Automation
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Solid Polish language skills

• Support both manual and automated testing, including creating new test cases and maintaining existing ones
• Create test data and scripts to support automated testing
• Analyze and decompose complicated software systems
• Develop complete and concise test strategies
• Execute high quality test plans to deliver excellent user experience
• Perform functional testing, regression testing, system integration, and build verification tests during product release cycles
• Identify, isolate, confirm, and log defects; work with the team to prioritize and fix them
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily StandUps, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Sprint Retrospectives
• Work with the Agile team to improve the Quality Assurance process and promote quality

• Work model is hybrid from the Krakow office
