Senior AI Designer

Elsewhere Entertainment is developing a new IP and is part of Activision, a leading worldwide developer, publisher, and distributor of interactive entertainment and products, known for franchises such as Call of Duty®, Crash Bandicoot™, Tony Hawk’s™ Pro Skater™, and Guitar Hero™.

• Experience with visual and object-oriented scripting
• Experience managing character animation graphs
• Ability to collaborate and thrive as part of a creative team
• Creativity in problem solving and a positive, respectful team-first attitude
• Organizational skills and capability to meet deadlines
• Comfort with self-critique and accepting outside feedback
• Habit of regularly playing and understanding modern video games

Bonus points for:

• Participation in development of a AAA project at gameplay design or AI design position
• Experience working with more than one development engine
• Enjoyment of playing a variety of video game genres and titles

• Take ownership over design of combat and non-combat NPCs and their behaviors
• Implement AI using behavior trees
• Understand animation requirements and dependencies
• Work with an in-house scripting language
• Collaborate with specialists from multiple disciplines
