Senior QA Engineer

Jit Team is a Polish IT company employing over 700 experienced experts, specializing in creating highly specialized teams for clients worldwide. They have a long-standing partnership with a leading financial group in the Nordic countries, supporting over 60 projects with more than 200 personnel. The client is a major Norwegian financial services provider with a global presence, emphasizing Scandinavian culture, work-life balance, and international teams with English language exposure.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance
• Experience in automated QA for ETL and data projects
• Strong SQL/PL-SQL skills and solid knowledge of relational databases
• Good understanding of ETL, ODS, and data warehousing concepts
• Manual testing experience with strong attention to data quality
• Familiarity with Git-based tools (e.g., Bitbucket)
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/SAFe) environments
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Experience working directly with IBM DataStage, Informatica, or similar ETL/Data Integration tools

• Developing and maintaining automated tests for ETL processes and data migrations into Operational Data Store
• Validating data mappings, transformations, and business rules using SQL
• Performing manual data testing and exploratory testing when needed
• Understanding mapping documents, data models, and integration requirements
• Collaborating with ETL developers and stakeholders on projects using IBM DataStage, Informatica, or similar tools
• Supporting regression testing and release activities
• Maintaining test documentation and defect reports
• Working in a Scrum team

• Hiring locations: Łódź, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Warsaw with at least 60% office presence (minimum 3 days per week)
