Salesforce Developer

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer (typically 3+ years) with hands-on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, validation rules).
• Strong understanding of core Salesforce Clouds (at least Sales Cloud or Service Cloud), including object model design, automation, security model, and data management.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or event-driven architectures, ideally in an enterprise B2B environment.
• Familiarity with modern software engineering practices such as version control (Git), CI/CD for Salesforce, automated testing, and code review processes.
• Ability to work in cross-functional, outcome-driven teams collaborating with product, architecture, and backend engineering stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to break down complex workflows into maintainable Salesforce solutions.

Nice to have:

• Experience with telecommunications or connectivity businesses, or with complex, multicomponent B2B products and quoting/billing scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with CPQ, order management, or billing solutions on Salesforce (e.g., Enxoo BSS/Billing, Salesforce CPQ).
• Exposure to low-code platforms and adjacent tools used at Expereo (e.g., Mendix, ServiceNow) and their interaction with Salesforce.
• Experience programming in Java, .NET, or other object-oriented back-end technologies.
• Skills in HTML5/JavaScript/CSS and JavaScript-based front-end frameworks (preferably React).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted capabilities on Salesforce (Einstein, agentic workflows) or constraint solving/data-driven architectures.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, JavaScript Developer I, or relevant Cloud Consultant credentials.
• Builder mentality with strong ownership and accountability for outcomes.
• Code-first, automation-first approach aiming to remove manual work and standardize patterns.
• Curiosity to work across the stack and learn from adjacent domains (backend, data, architecture).
• Collaborative, positive attitude aligned with an international, diverse environment.

Salesforce solution design & delivery:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, ISV packages such as Enxoo BSS/Billing) supporting global lead-to-cash and service processes.
• Implement customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and configuration respecting Salesforce best practices and governor limits.
• Translate user and business requirements into technical designs including data models, integrations, and security models; document and review with architects and stakeholders.

Automation, integration & APIs:

• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and backoffice systems using REST APIs, middleware, and platform events following established patterns.
• Design and optimize data flows and sync processes ensuring data quality, consistency, and observability.
• Contribute to reusable integration frameworks, SDKs, and connectors aligned with programmable platform strategy.

Quality, security & DevOps:

• Write clean, testable Apex and LWC code with unit and integration test coverage supporting CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git-based workflows).
• Apply security and compliance best practices including role-based access control, field-level security, and secure integration patterns.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Salesforce performance and reliability collaborating with SRE/DevOps and backend teams.

Collaboration & innovation:

• Work closely with Product Managers, architects, business stakeholders, and engineers to refine requirements, prioritize work, and deliver incremental value.
• Contribute to Salesforce development standards, patterns, and guardrails; help teams adopt reference implementations and shared components.
• Support innovation initiatives such as AI-assisted workflows, advanced quoting, and programmable network and connectivity products built on Salesforce.
