QA Engineer

Jit Team is a Polish company employing over 700 experienced experts, creating specialized teams for global clients. They have a long-standing partnership with a leading financial group in the Nordic countries, engaging over 200 personnel in more than 60 projects for this Norwegian financial services provider. The client emphasizes Scandinavian culture, work-life balance, and international teams with daily English communication.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation (Web GUI and/or REST services)
• Strong coding skills in Java and Python; experience with Robot Framework
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Cucumber, Postman, Chrome DevTools
• Solid understanding of software testing principles (e.g., ISTQB Foundation level)
• Ability to drive and support QA activities across the delivery team
• Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Fluent use of Git
• Basic experience with SQL queries
• Skills in data manipulation using XML, CSV, JSON
• Strong communication skills in an international environment
• Willingness to continuously develop automation competences

Nice to have:

• Basic performance testing knowledge (e.g., JMeter)

• Contribute to and execute the automation test strategy for application releases
• Design and develop automated tests for GUI (Web) and service-layer (REST) components
• Maintain and expand the automated test repository
• Execute automated test cases according to project timelines and report results
• Support defect management and document test outcomes
• Design system, integration, and acceptance test scenarios
• Expand and enhance the existing automation framework to support new technologies
• Support production issue analysis from a testing perspective
• Promote test automation best practices within the team and support manual testers in automation adoption
