Engineering Team Leader (Data Platform)

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer / DWH Developer
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of Python and SQL, including T-SQL, writing complex stored procedures, and performance optimization
• Experience in building ETL processes (SSIS, SSRS, ADF)
• Knowledge of cloud solutions (Snowflake, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in designing data architectures both on-premise and in the cloud
• Experience in projects involving data migration from on-premise to cloud (databases such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL, MongoDB)
• Proficiency in working with Git and building CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in building scalable, real-time Data Lake solutions
• Experience delivering projects end-to-end, from architecture to deployment
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work with remote teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with streaming data processing (Kafka)
• Knowledge of Data Mesh concepts

• Leading, mentoring, and developing a small Data Platform team
• Monitoring day-to-day work and supporting the resolution of technical issues
• Ensuring delivery of development tasks in line with established technological standards
• Identifying and mitigating obstacles in the delivery process that impact the quality of solutions
• Collaborating with other teams to design optimal solution architectures
• Defining and monitoring key quality and performance indicators
